Puppetfingers · A Mushroom World
A playful piece exploring re-enchantment through the eyes of a mushroom.
The fungi character reflects the vital role of mushrooms and mycelium in nature. In this new performance, the mushroom becomes a connector — linking people, nature, and space through curiosity, presence, and joyful interaction.
Amy Hegarty (Puppetfingers) is a designer, maker, and performer in the outdoor arts world — specialising in costume, puppetry, and community arts. Her work is collaborative and playful. She particularly enjoys the buzz of performing and creating art that communities can engage with.

Orla Collier · Sometimes I hate going for walks in nice places that look nice
A solo performance piece exploring feelings of pressure and overwhelm.
Created & performed by Orla Collier. Music by Lee Affen. Commissioned & supported by The Knotted Project
Orla is a Leeds-based freelance dance & physical theatre artist from Cumbria. She trained at Rambert School & NSCD, and now works as a performer, teacher, and choreographer. Shannon Mulvey · FRANKENDIVA!
A glorious, glitter-soaked monster of a show, FRANKENDIVA! is stomping back — bigger, bolder, and even more unapologetically fabulous. 💥🧷💋
Part pop party, part power anthem, this high-energy, interactive performance is inspired by Frankenstein — but instead of creating a monster, we’re building a DIVA. With the help of the audience, piece by piece, she comes to life in all her fierce, messy glory. Expect iconic pop, franken-glam aesthetics, and a wild celebration of individuality, empowerment, and rejecting society’s expectations.
At 3.30pm, join us for the FRANKENDIVA! DISCO — a full-throttle, all-in, stomp-it-out dance party where everyone gets up to unleash their inner diva. 💃⚡️ Let’s build a diva. Together. One stomp at a time. 💄🩹
Shannon is a performer & lecturer with extensive national and international experience. As a solo artist, she has performed with FC Bergman at the Barbican Theatre, Trapdoor Theatre in Chicago, Gardzienice Theatre in Poland, and the Almeida Theatre. Television credits include appearances on BBC, ITV, and Channel 5.

the institute for crazy dancing · FRAGILE. One way to wonderment…
A colourful cube transforms into a see-saw and a striking Hazard Cube.
Feeling fragile? Get a sticker; find your balance; make a wish and enter wonderment… Come and join us for a conversation about fragility — find your balance, then enter our cube, for a new view on the world.
The ICD has been crafting participatory performance art for 25 years. From cross-city masquerades to installations that look like fairground rides — but do all the opposites; absurdist cabaret to art gallery interventions and site-responsive performance.

Madame Zucchini · Hot Political Potato Gameshow
Come and see the veg characters Mme Z has created — could Nigel Cabbage be there? What about Tayto Swift? Do you want to throw potatoes at them in her Veg Shy, reminiscent of fetes with a dash of the horticultural show? Do you want to create your own character to add to the lineup? Feel free to take your creation with you.
Madame Zucchini entertains with vegetables, and sometimes with fruit. She creates her own veg puppet shows (like Pirates of the Carrotbean with Capn Jack Marrow & Kiwi Knightley), runs veg craft sessions, and even dresses up in various vegetable guises. She has done this at all kinds of events across the UK for around 17 years.
