About
Turn is our annual platform for North West dancers and dance-makers — an opportunity to engage with new dance in Manchester.
After a 6-year hiatus, this tenth edition presents nine† short works in three spaces at Contact — look at artist’s images & read their programme notes; also get a feel for it with 2017’s programme & gallery of images.
NB Friday’s public platform is followed by an artist day for participants only.
Manchester’s open call dance platform, Turn aims to be:
— a public micro-festival and open submission platform;
— an opportunity for artists to meet, show, and peer-review work;
— an artist networking event.
Fluidly lyrical, effervescently acrobatic, or eccentrically innovative, let Turn 2023 transport you into a frenzy of dance…
Turn 2023 is a thing to do on the Oxford Road Corridor this March.
